Chat with Larry Hertzog this Saturday

Join the Nowhere Man chat this Saturday (December 18, 1999) with the man himself, Larry Hertzog.

The chat will take place at #nowhere-man on EFnet at 11:00am Pacific Standard Time, that's roughly 20.00pm for the West Europeans.

If you don't have an IRC client you can get one at MIRC (www.mirc.com). Once you set it up, choose EFnet from the list (and a local server, so if you live in the US you're best of with a US server).  Once you choose 'connect to IRC server' you're prompted to choose a channel: choose  (you can just type it in, don't forget the - because there's also a channel #nowhereman).

I did some site tweaking and updating.
Saturday Chat was great.  Larry showed up, we all got hungry and had lunch online (with 'Happy Juice' for refreshment).  Larry said he will try to make it to the
NwM Festival, I will post something when I get a final confirmation about this.

A letter from the Sci-Fi Channel

This letter was received by Greg Kowaleski.  It means that we got their attention, so let's send them some more until they make the right decision.  The addresses are here.

April 27, 1999

Dear Mr. Kowaleski:

Thank you for sending us a copy of the pilot of "Nowhere Man".  I am returning your tape to you since we already have a copy from the program's distributor.  Please be assured that this series is among our list of possibilities for future acquisition.  A cable channel such as Sci-Fi must juggle many factors when choosing which programs to air.  We like "Nowhere Man", and agree that it could possibly add to our program lineup, but at the present time no decision has been made.

Thank you for sending your letter and the tape, and for your interest in the Sci-Fi Channel.  We enjoy hearing from our audience and hope that you continue to remain a loyal viewer and continue to enjoy our programming.

Sincerely,

Sam French
Programming Assistant
Sci-Fi Channel

3rd run of NwM on SPACE the Imagination Station (Canada)

The 3rd run of NwM on SPACE the imagination station (Canada) begins next Sunday. Although the prime time slot was dropped to make way for Sliders, Canadian viewers can still catch NwM Sunday mornings at am EST. On April 11th Absolute Zero Part 1 will be shown followed by the second part on the 18th. It seems like they're keeping it in order this time as Turnabout will air on the 25th.
